Priority Collection Sync

We’ve introduced a new feature on the dashboard that allows you to sync individual collections or priority collections. Moving forward, only the collections that have been updated will be synced—rather than syncing all collections. This change significantly reduces the time needed for updates, making the sync process faster and more efficient.

Key Benefits:

  • Sync only updated collections, improving speed and efficiency.
  • Save time by reducing the need for syncing all collections.

How to Use the New Sync Feature:

  1. Navigate to the Data Tab: In the Sparq app dashboard, go to the Data tab.
  2. Add Collection IDs: Under the Sync Settings section, you’ll find an option to add a list of collection IDs that need to be synced.
  3. Enter Collection IDs: Input the collection IDs in your desired order of priority, then click the Sync Collection button.
  4. Sync Process: After clicking, the app will sync these collections in parallel with the main sync pipeline, optimizing the process.

Add New Collections: If you want to sync a different set of collections:

    • Return to the Sync Settings page.
    • After the page refreshes, previously added collection IDs will be removed, allowing you to add and sync a new list.

How to Find a Collection ID:

  1. Log in to Shopify: Open your Shopify admin page.

    Navigate to Collections:

    • In the left-hand menu, click on Products.
    • Then, click Collections.
  2. Open the Desired Collection: Click on the collection you want to find the ID for.
  3. Check the URL: Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. It will look something like this:

  4. Identify and Copy the Collection ID: The number at the end of the URL (e.g., 123456789) is the Collection ID. Copy this number to use for syncing.

Important Note:

  • Syncing 1,000 products should take approximately one hour.

This new sync method helps ensure that updates are faster, more efficient, and tailored to your specific needs. Happy syncing!
