How to translate your labels and filters?

Learn how to translate the labels and filters for your store.

The Translation feature allows you to customize the labels and filters, whether you want to change the terminology, naming convention, or translate them to the language of your preference. The customizable interface allows you to easily pick a language, update all labels and filters on a one-by-one basis.

Translation Setup

After installing Sparq,

  • Go to Apps in your Admin Dashboard > Select Sparq Search and Filters.

  • Navigate to Theme dropdown > Translation

Languages

Pick the language of your preference from the dropdown to translate your labels and filter respectively.

Below are the currently offered languages, you can choose from:

  • English (default)

  • Arabic

  • French

  • Bulgarian

  • Czech

  • Danish

  • German

  • Greek

  • Spanish

  • Japanese

  • Italian

  • Hebrew

  • Estonian

  • Latvian

  • Russian

  • Finnish

Once you've picked your desired language, we'll look at updating labels and filters!

Update Labels and Filters

Under Labels and Filters, you'll notice two columns named "Default Value" and "Change Value"

The values under the "Change value" column are to be edited, by updating the values in the text box to the respective labels and filters. Click on "Update" to have the values reflect on your store site.

In the below example, I've translated my labels and filters to Spanish:

Customize these values per your use case, you can also choose to update the naming convention or terminology for the existing labels and filters.
